Aurvakur means ‘Early Awake’ in Old Norse, and is born out of a deep fascination for mysticism. 

Philosophy means pragmatism. To do is to give birth to your belief. 

The old hermit would lead a secluded life in the tibetan mountains, or find a hut near a chinese spring. The buddhist monk would lead a simple life, a life of the carmelite. 

 

By their faith, they would seek to pronounce the word, the thought, the line. 

 

Looking within to find the deep well, the spark of the gods, to warm themselves near the fire of truth - far away from the contamination of the world, and bask in silence, in prayer and in darkness.
